Our Story

More Than a Store — It's a Feel

LJ's This and That started with a simple idea: why should shopping feel like a chore? In the heart of Tyler, we built a space where every aisle holds a little surprise, every shelf tells a story, and every customer gets the warm welcome they deserve.

Whether you're hunting for the perfect housewarming gift, a cozy throw for game night, or just browsing for fun — our shelves are stocked with items that spark joy without breaking the bank. We pick every product the way we'd pick for our own homes: with care, intention, and a healthy dose of curiosity.

Bestsellers, journals, planners, and pens that make writing feel special again. Perfect for the reader or list-maker in your life.

Seasonal & trending

From spring refreshes to holiday decorations, we rotate our shelves to match the season — so you always find what's fresh and right now.

Why Choose Us

The LJ's Difference

In a world of big-box stores and endless scrolling, we offer something rarer: a shop that feels like a conversation with a friend who knows your taste.

Hand-Picked, Not Mass-Produced

Every item on our shelves gets a second look from us. If we wouldn't buy it, you won't find it here.

Prices That Make Sense

Great finds shouldn't require a second mortgage. We keep our margins fair so you get more for less.

A Space That Welcomes Everyone

No pressure, no judgment — just browse at your own pace. We're here when you need us, invisible when you don't.

Always Something New

New shipments, fresh arrivals, rotating seasonal displays — there's a reason regulars say the shop always feels different (in a good way).
